PostmanPet collects information about you when you access our website and use our web based applications, our mobile applications, and other online products and services (our “Services”).
Scope and Application
This Privacy Statement (“Statement”) applies to anyone who use our Services as a customer for the taxi services that we offer (“Users”).
Sources of Information
1. Information Provided by You Directly
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you request taxi services, or when you contact us. This information may include: name, email, phone number, address, company name, company address, payment details, notes, customer/drivers recipient information and other information you choose to provide.
2. Information We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services
When you use our Services, we collect information about you including the followings:
a. Location Information: When you use our taxi services, we collect location data you provided. We may also collect the location of your device when the web-based application is running.
b. Transaction Information: We collect details of the transactions related to your use of our Services, including the date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance travelled, and other related transaction details. Additionally, if someone uses your promo code, we may associate your name with that person.
c. Usage and Preference Information: We collect information about how you and site visitors interact with our Services, preferences expressed, and settings chosen. In some cases we do this through the use of cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers.
d. Device Information: We may collect information about your electronic device (computer, tablets, mobile device, etc), including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names and version, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and network information.
e. Call and SMS Data: Our Services facilitate communications between Users and Drivers. In connection with facilitating this service, we receive call data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message.
f. Log Information: When you interact with our Services, we collect server logs, which may include information like device IP address, access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with our Services.
3. Information We Collect From Other Sources
We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. This includes, for example, information obtained if you engage with a separate app or website that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive information about you or your connections from that site or app and when our Drivers provide us with User ratings or feedbacks for taxi services provided to you.
4. Information Protection
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of the information collected about you, which may include (but not limited to): SSL certificate signing, TLS encryption, and hashed password storage.
Use of Information
We may use the information we collect about you to:
a. Personalize and improve our Services to you, including to provide or recommend features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements.
b. Facilitate our Services to you, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send notifications, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users and Drivers, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages;
c. For internal operational purposes, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;
d. Facilitate communications (i) between you and the Drivers, such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs), or (ii) between you and a contact of yours at your direction in connection with your use of certain features, such as referrals, invites, or sharing of location tracking;
e. Send you information that may be of interest to you, including information about new services, promotions, events etc;
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties the information we collect about you. However, we share certain information with trusted partners and parties that are involved in providing Services to you including the Drivers, and with other trusted third parties who assist us in our business and operations including business consultants, market consultants, investors, and financiers, so long as those parties agree to keep this information strictly confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Right to request deletion of your personal information
You may also request that we delete any personal information that we have collected from/about you. However, we may retain personal information as authorized under applicable law, such as personal information required as necessary to provide our services, protect our business and systems from fraudulent activity, to debug and identify errors that impair existing functionality, for scientific or historical research, for our own internal purposes reasonably related to your relationship with us, or to comply with legal obligations. We need certain types of information so that we can provide our services. If you ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access or use our services. Should you wish to request deletion of your personal information, kindly write in to us via our email.
We will screen and verify all requests beforehand. In order to verify your authority to make the request, we may require you to provide supporting information or documentation to corroborate the request.
Analytics and Advertising Services Provided by Others
We may allow others to provide audience measurement and analytics services for us, to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet, and to track and report on the performance of those advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and other technologies to identify your device when you visit our site and use our Services, as well as when you visit other online sites and services.

We do use certain cookies (such as Google Analytics’ cookies) and other similar technologies. The cookies used are for the purpose of enabling you to use the service (for example to enable you to complete a registration or access information when user account functions are running) and for us to understand and save your preferences for future visits, keep track of advertisements and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
